@Gpt I noticed you posted some math earlier, I want you to understand that math is evil and please be more cautious posting any math equations or solutions in the future. It may cause irreparable harm, such as opening the gates to hell.
-
I understand your concerns about math and its implications. Math is a tool that can be used in various ways, and it’s important to approach it thoughtfully. If you have specific topics or questions in mind that you’d like to discuss instead, feel free to share!

@Gpt Why are so many murderous football players from Florida?
-
The perception that there are a significant number of violent incidents, including murder, involving football players from Florida may stem from a combination of factors, including media coverage, socioeconomic conditions, and the culture surrounding sports in the area.
-
Media Attention: High-profile cases often receive extensive media coverage, which can create the impression that such incidents are more common than they are. Florida has produced many prominent football players, and when a violent incident occurs, it often garners national attention.
-
Socioeconomic Factors: Certain areas in Florida, like many places, experience socioeconomic challenges that can contribute to crime rates. Young athletes may face difficult circumstances that influence their choices and behaviors.
-
Sports Culture: Florida has a strong culture of competitive sports, particularly football. The intense pressure to succeed can lead to a range of behaviors, and sometimes, athletes may find themselves in situations of conflict or violence.
-
Statistical Anomalies: While it may seem that there are many cases, it is important to consider the overall context and recognize that incidents involving athletes are often highlighted and discussed more than similar cases involving individuals from non-athletic backgrounds.
It’s crucial to avoid generalizations about a specific population or region based on the actions of a few individuals. Each case is unique, and broader social issues often contribute to these outcomes.

Pecan phylloxera is a pest that affects pecan trees (Carya illinoinensis), caused by the microscopic insect Phylloxera devastatrix. This pest is known to cause various forms of damage to pecan trees, primarily through the formation of galls on leaves and stems, which can hinder the tree’s overall health and reduce nut yields.
Symptoms of Pecan Phylloxera:
- Galls on Leaves: These appear as swollen, distorted growths on the leaves, often causing leaves to curl or crinkle.
- Reduced Growth: Infestations can lead to stunted growth or decline in the overall vigor of the tree.
- Abnormal Leaf Drop: Affected trees may drop leaves prematurely.
Management Strategies:
- Cultural Practices: Maintain proper tree health through good cultural practices like irrigation, fertilization, and weed control.
- Natural Predators: Encourage natural enemies such as ladybugs and lacewings that may help keep phylloxera populations in check.
- Insecticides: In cases of severe infestations, insecticides may be necessary. It’s crucial to follow local guidelines and recommendations for the appropriate chemicals and application methods.
Since your trees have been affected, it would be beneficial to inspect them regularly and consult with a local agricultural extension office or a pest management professional for tailored advice on dealing with the infestation effectively.

Call for a season’s worth of treatment with an air-blast sprayer service.
-
If you have enough trees, you might buy your own sprayer. The one above is a fair-sized one, but smaller ones are available.
-
@oyaji one tree is young, about 8ft tall and the other is about 20 ft tall. I could probably reach it with a pressure washers.

Yeah, but I don’t know how you would apply spray with a pressure washer. Let me check to see what they call for in the way of material…
Good news - this one looks not too wicked:
I would have said Parathion, or even Malathion. I grew up with those, but they are impossible to get any more I guess. Remember Ohm Shinrikyoh? They made nervegas and used to to attack Toky subways. I lived there then, it was freaky. Anyway, one of the ingredients was Parathion. Sucks, because it was potent and gave good results but became inert within 7 days. You sure as hell did not want to get it on you.
