Fuck I hope that means that’s the end of them It used to be okay when they’d ask you to solve one on a new account sign up, but now they are just endless.

I had one yesterday on the google search page while signed into a google account that I give them $10 a month to use. I use that account all day, every day for work and have to sign in again with my password every few weeks.

Anyway, on the Google search captcha, I solved two “find all the fire hydrant” type puzzles and when I got to the third I thought, I know how to solve this permanently and typed duckduckgo.com into the address bar. Fuck that shit. Make some other monkey dance ya cunts.

Linus Tech Tips channels begin to bleed subscribers amid controversy - Dexerto

Linus Media Group’s array of YouTube and Floatplane channels has begun to lose a considerable amount of subscribers.

SocialBlade, a tracker of subscriber counts, is currently estimating that the main Linus Tech Tips channel will dip to 15.3 million subs.

While it’s a noticeable protest, I’m sure they’ll survive the “bleed”.

Subs are kind of meaningless now anyway since YouTube decided they know what you want to watch better than you do. Being subbed doesn’t guarantee their vids will show up on your feed and unsubbing doesn’t stop them from appearing either (you need to click the menu and select “Don’t recommend channel”. )

I really hate the modern YouTube. It’s toxic for the creators and frustrating for the users.

Sure there is still good content, there always will be.

I’m thinking hog is more talking about how the content is suggested to you.

Just Music wise. I feel it only suggests to me the last 10 songs I listened to. Back in the days, I feel the algorithm was so much better. Which is weird.

Only the EU can save Android in the US now

The latest US market share report shows the Android/iOS war might be over here. But salvation could come from an unlikely source.

@Gators1 Android has most if not all of the 45% remaining share of a 300 million people market. Why do they need saving? The US is also the only country where Apple has majority share. Most businesses would kill to have Android’s problems.

I bought an iPhone 3g I think it was called. It was my first smartphone and, at the time, I thought it was pure sex. I haven’t wanted to buy another but it’s probably due to the huge gap in value for money vs Android plus having to do everything the Apple way on an iPhone.

I’m writing this reply on a $200 RealMe 9 and it’s such a capable phone. There isn’t anything about it that I wished it did better. I guess I don’t know what I’m missing.
