A college student created an app that can tell whether AI wrote an essay

Some students have been using ChatGPT, a text-based bot, to do their homework for them. Now, 22-year-old Edward Tian's new app is attracting educators working to combat AI plagiarism.

So, this ChatGBT is just a chatbox that answers questions? How is this any different than Siri or Alexa?

That raises an interesting philosophical question: if we were and you never knew, what difference would it have made?

That raises an interesting philosophical question: if we were and you never knew, what difference would it have made?

Except when the matrix glitches and it makes you self aware. For instance, when you think of something completely out of the blue and it mysteriously happens.

Why would you use ChatGBT for that when they have Codex?

It’s the same AI basically so either way you should get a similar answer. Have not used codex, but you can argue with the chat one, like tell it you got an error or just them the code didn’t work. The problem is the rate of failure even for fairly simple functions was pretty high for me so the process turned me from a programmer to a QA.
