For me personally, post-nut clarity isn’t conducive to productive coding. I do my best work when my mind is racing and I’m hopped up on caffeine and nicotine.
What is good for problems I can’t figure out is just leaving it and picking another problem. In a day or three I’ll often just suddenly see the answer for the first problem. Assuming I have the luxury of the time to do that of course. Most of the time I just have to brute force it by trying approach after approach until I find the solution.

I guess we each have our own ‘best creative’ or problem-solving moments.
For me, I get some of my better ideas while in the shower in the morning.
Sometimes I go over challenges before falling asleep and occasionally I wake up next day with a solution in mind.

Youtube is lies. I spent hours today trying to get a new IDE set up and nothing works the way it works on the fucking Youtube. There’s a thing on the bottom where I am supposed to be able to click through virtual environments but it doesn’t fucking exist on my version. Uninstall and reinstall didn’t work. I finally ended up getting shit working on a docker container, which is cool, but then there is some issue with port forwarding or something and my app didn’t work. Programming is bullshit!

I probably should. That’s where all the hotties are and my experience is most of them are overpaid.

One of my friends is raving about ChatGBT, which means he read it in some cultist/conspiracy news somewhere. What does it actually do?

Apparently what we’ve been doing for years, mimicking real people, at chat speeds.

@Kilemall Your bot is spilling secrets again!

I bet the bot is just actually Gators writing essays instead of working.

-
So, this ChatGBT is just a chatbox that answers questions? How is this any different than Siri or Alexa?
-
It creates content from pooling together all content rather than just acting as a glorified search engine.
-
So it gets the answers from Siri and Alexa, then types them down for you. Got it.

Some air force dweeb asks it can you nuke everything?
The answer is yes.

It gives bad coding advice for one thing. And it doesn’t know that Sweden is superior to Finland.
