@Gators1 Thankfully I haven’t had to submit a resume in over a decade. It’s going to be painful if/when I have to update it. I can barely remember what i had for dinner last night let alone what I was working on all that time.

@Lob12 might be but it’s hard to know. There’s a real one from Twitter where they demanded X years experience in some library and rejected the guy who actually wrote the library (which itself was younger than the number of years experience they were asking for).
IT recruiters are (generally) really fucking awful.

As Hog says, I don’t think so. Imagine you are supposed to recruit people based on their capability to speak Chinese and you have a Chinese thesaurus and nothing else. I imagine that’s how most tech recruiters feel.

Engagement from hell. Sadly their employer was probably happy to let them suffer and keep collecting checks from the client. A helpful consulting firm would have gone to the parent company and laid this all out for them.
