As for the troubles, in 2016 we got a Brexit and the joy of watching Britain getting beaten by Iceland. I guess one can’t ask too much from the same year.

(I could also talk at lengths about how our current government is the worst we have elected since at least the 50’s, but well… I take solace in knowing the one we’ll vote for on next March will probably be a bit worse anyway. Because it would just be such a pity to stop on such a good slope.)

Don’t worry, Soon ™ we’ll have the worst administrations ever, but at least you’ll have tons of entertainment!

Truth be told, I’m torn : a part of me would really like to see President Trump at work, but the other part (you know, the part that says you shouldn’t eat the whole bag of sweets, the boring one) can’t help wondering if the iodine pills would really do the trick.

Real life got me : I can’t kill my employer, because he’s the only one who can sign the paychecks, and my almost-3-year-old daughter is really too cute to get rid of her, but you know, if I could I would do it for you guys.

Ya, a lot of times when I post nuggets like that it’s intended for our foreign friends who missed the little weird things submerged in the stream from the great spewing firehose that is the American Mass Culture Machine.

Even better if I can get people to wiki themselves and let the full horror wash over them.

It’s American English- people say wiki as a verb, it’s a word, screw the Oxford dictionary.
