Anyone know how to code node.js to create a plugin?
I could maybe have a go at it over the weekend. Can you link me to something about creating plugins for this forum? I’m not even sure what this forum software is called.
Here’s the link to the limited documentation: https://docs.nodebb.org/en/latest/plugins/create.html?highlight=plugin.
The software is called NodeBB.
You can try using this plugin and changing if you want to edit so that it is for quoting instead:

Well fortunately gators got rid of the eye sore graphics for the punch in the face check mark.
But where is our punch in the face check mark with non crs graphics…you know, graphics from only 10-15 years ago?
btw, good job gators…at least you and whoofe are on the job keeping this place afloat with your super mod powers.

Ok cool. Should be enough there to work it out.
What database table are you storing credit card details in? I wan’t to make sure I don’t accidentally scrape that information and send it to my email address every time someone clicks the new quote button.

@Hog That you have to ask @tigger about. I believe it’s redis.

Often can’t click on stuff. No idea what it is.

@tigger I had an extension in my browser which was causing that previously. Wouldn’t let my click on uploads, but this was on the other site.

On Firefox for Ubuntu, the reply window overruns the bottom of the page. In order to type there, I have to shrink the window to the point that I cannot read the text. I just have to take on faith I’ve made no typos, and just compose from short-term memory. (How am I doing? ;) ) At least before submitting I can take a peek at what I have written, but editing is problematic as you might guess…
Also when zooming in to the screen so that my aging eyes can comfortably read text on my (23") screen, the buttons across the top vanish.
And of course I still cannot see any pictures of embedded video players y’all post… but I s’pose I could take a stab at fixing that myself. sigh
